Our Addiction Treatment Programs and Levels of Care
A comprehensive continuum of care for addiction treatment
The continuum of care in addiction treatment
Addiction is a unique experience for each person who struggles with it, and recovery has multiple paths. Every person’s substance use disorder is of a different severity, as are the events, co-occurring disorders, and life situations that influence their treatment needs. That is why the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) has created an organized continuum of care to match each individual to the required level of care through a comprehensive and thorough clinical assessment.[1]
At All In Solutions, we offer the full continuum of care. From medically supervised detoxification and 24-hour residential care to partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, we have designed a treatment program that meets each client where they are and moves them forward through their recovery process. Each level of care builds upon the prior level, establishing a step-down model for helping clients heal over the long term instead of just temporary stabilization.
Our clinicians are here to assist everyone, whether you are new to considering treatment for yourself or someone else, or returning to treatment after having relapsed. There is no one-size-fits-all option here at All In Solutions, only individualized care provided by clinicians who understand addiction from their own personal experiences of being in recovery.

Levels of Substance Abuse Treatment
Medical Detox
Medical detoxification, or detox, is often the first step in treatment. Detox safely clears either alcohol or drugs from your body with around-the-clock clinical supervision. Detox is not a standalone treatment for substance use disorder, but for many people, it is a necessary foundation for continuing with other therapeutic methods of treatment.
Withdrawal from alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, and other substances can generate a range of uncomfortable and occasionally life-threatening symptoms. It is very unsafe to attempt to detox on their own without professional help.[2] When you complete detox in a medically monitored program, the clinical team supervising your withdrawal will use evidence-based protocols to provide you with the safest and most tolerable level of care possible.
At All In Solutions, our detoxification program provides our clients with 24-hour supervision and support in a structured environment. Our clinical staff continually monitor the withdrawal progress of each client and adjust treatment throughout the process based on how their body responds. When clinically appropriate, the medical team will use medication-assisted treatment to ease withdrawal and reduce chances of relapse during this vulnerable period.
Detox eliminates your physical dependency on alcohol or drugs, but the process of recovery requires more than that. Our team uses this phase to begin building trust, assessing each client’s full treatment needs, and preparing them for the next stage of their care.

Residential Program
Residential treatment, or inpatient treatment, provides fully structured and immersive care in a live-in setting. Clients receiving inpatient treatment reside at the treatment center, removing themselves from the lifestyle, relationships, and triggers they have been exposed to that contributed to their substance use. This level of care is appropriate for those who require more support than outpatient services can provide, or whose home environment is not conducive to early recovery.
Clients who participate in inpatient treatment will engage in a complete range of therapeutic programming throughout their recovery, including individual therapy, group therapy, psychoeducational classes, and holistic modalities as part of treating the underlying issues of a person’s addiction and developing life skills for long-term recovery. Co-occurring mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and trauma are also addressed through an integrated dual diagnosis treatment approach alongside the substance use disorder.
The residential setting also provides peer support with fellow residents in recovery, something that cannot be gotten in outpatient treatment. These connections will often become a source of long-term support in recovery. The residential inpatient treatment facilities at All In Solutions are structured and welcoming instead of clinical, and provide caring, safe, and effective support to each and every resident.
Partial Hospitalization Program
The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is the next step down from residential treatment for clients transitioning from detox or inpatient care, allowing for a degree of flexibility and progression in the recovery process. PHP allows clients to receive intensive, clinically comprehensive outpatient treatment and supervision without having to live at the treatment center.
Clients attending PHP participate in programming for a majority of their day, typically 5-6 hours a day for 5 days per week, and then return home or to a sober living environment at night. This level of structure and accountability creates a strong foundation for rebuilding daily life into the recovery process. The primary services provided within PHP include individual therapy, group therapy, case management, psychiatric support, and medication management.
PHP is a very effective treatment option for those who have completed a residential program and are attempting to build greater independence, as well as for patients whose substance use disorder requires more intensive support than intensive outpatient programs (IOP) can provide. The ASAM criteria lists PHP as an important level of care for patients with moderate to severe impairment who do not require 24-hour supervision.[3]
Intensive Outpatient Program
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a structured and flexible level of outpatient treatment for clients who have demonstrated a significant amount of progress in their recovery and are ready to re-engage with work, school, family, and everyday responsibilities, while at the same time receiving ongoing clinical support.
Clients participating in the IOP attend individual and group therapy for 3-5 days per week for a varying number of hours per day. The IOP is a common step-down from PHP, allowing clients to transition back into their daily lives gradually as they continue to develop their recovery and support systems. At All In Solutions, our IOP provides a holistic approach to treatment. While abstaining from alcohol and drug use is the primary objective, we also work with our clients to develop emotional regulation skills, relapse prevention strategies, and the behavioral health skills necessary to live life in sobriety. Co-occurring disorders continue to be addressed within our IOP’s treatment process, and through case management services, we assist our clients in coordinating ongoing aftercare needs.
IOP can also serve as a primary level of care for individuals who do not require more intensive inpatient treatment services, or those who are returning to treatment after experiencing a relapse.
Specialty Programs at All In Solutions
While levels of care traditionally address the intensity of treatment services, the type of care provided within those levels is just as important. Addiction is influenced by a variety of individual factors such as trauma, spirituality, gender, chronic pain, and occupational stressors.
At All In Solutions, our specialty programs integrate into the continuum of care across all levels of treatment to provide individualized support for each client’s unique needs. Whether someone needs a faith-informed approach to recovery, trauma-focused therapy, or gender-specific programming, we have built pathways to meet those needs.
Faith-Based Substance Abuse Treatment
Individual Case Management
Many clients are dealing with substantial stressors such as housing issues, insurance issues, employment issues, legal issues, or medical services issues during the early stages of their recovery.
Men’s Program
Medication Assisted Treatment
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is a treatment model that utilizes Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved medications such as methadone, buprenorphine, or naltrexone combined with counseling and behavioral therapy to help people suffering from substance use disorder due to opioid and alcohol dependence.
Trauma Focused Treatment
Trauma is often a major factor when it comes to addiction, with many clients suffering from substance use disorder having been physically, emotionally, or sexually abused or experienced a traumatic event that led to their substance use problems. Because of this link between trauma and addiction, we utilize trauma-informed care in our programming to treat both substance use disorder and the underlying causes of the clients’ substance use. We use evidence-based practices such as EMDR and trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy to provide evidence-based trauma-informed care programming.
Alumni Support Program
Even after clients finish treatment, recovery from substance use disorder continues. Our alumni community support programs are designed to keep former clients connected to the All In Solutions community through connection and peer support via events and access to a variety of other resources. Developing and maintaining connections with others in recovery is one of the strongest indicators of long-term recovery from substance use disorder.
Women’s Program
Women face unique issues with their recovery due to trauma, relationships, hormone fluctuations, and societal expectations. The Women’s Only Program at All In Solutions provides a safe and supportive space for women to work on themselves and explore their mental health or addiction problems privately.
Patients with Chronic Pain
Clients suffering from chronic pain generally suffer from more severe addiction problems, especially if their addiction is due to long-term use of addictive pain medications such as opioids. The Chronic Pain Program at All In Solutions focuses on helping clients manage their chronic pain during their recovery from substance addiction.
Frequently Asked Questions About Our Levels of Care
What is the continuum of care in addiction treatment?
The continuum of care includes all types of treatment from the beginning of treatment until an individual completes their recovery process, and is designed to be cost-effective for each client. It includes medically managed detoxification, 24-hour residential treatment, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient programs. The goal is to ensure that each client is paired with the appropriate level of care and transitioned to the next level as they progress in their recovery.
How do I know which level of care is right for me or my loved one?
Each individual will have a clinical assessment completed of their history and current status. The admissions team at All In Solutions will determine if the individual meets the diagnostic criteria for a substance use disorder, the severity of the disorder, and what may be contributing to it. The admissions team will perform the clinical assessment prior to the client starting treatment and assist the client in determining the appropriate level of care for their situation.
What are the ASAM criteria?
The ASAM criteria are developed by the American Society of Addiction Medicine to assist with matching individuals to an appropriate level of addiction treatment. The ASAM criteria measure each individual across six dimensions of care to identify the appropriate point to start treatment and the appropriate time to transition to lower levels of care.
Can I move between levels of care during treatment?
Yes, the continuum of care provides fluidity so that clients can transition from residential treatment to partial hospitalization to intensive outpatient treatment, or in the reverse direction if needed. The All In Solutions treatment team performs ongoing evaluations to adjust each client’s treatment plan based on their clinical progress.
Does All In Solutions accept insurance for these programs?
Yes, All In Solutions accepts most major insurance providers and will verify your insurance benefits at no cost. Please call the admissions team to complete the verification process.
